What is Camp Pine Lake all about?
Camp Pine Lake is centered around exploring and living one's faith.
Being supported and challenged by their peers and a caring staff,
campers of all ages are strengthened to face the challenges of everyday
living from a faith perspective and develop a deeper relationship with
Jesus Christ.
What do we do at camp? Activities vary for each camp, but include devotions, service projects, campfires, canoeing, waterslides, swimming, group games, crafts or talent shows!
How do I register? Visit the Registration Forms link and fill out the online pre-registration. Then download the Authorization and Release form, fill it out and mail it to Camp Pine Lake with your $25 pre-registration fee. Contact camppinelake@heartofiowa.net or (641) 939-5334 if you have any questions.
Can I bring a friend? Of course! First time campers also come half price. You can also request to share a cabin with one friend. I am not sure if my child if eligible. Camp Pine Lake is for everyone! If you have questions about eligibility, contact Brethren Program Director Barbara Wise Lewczak at (515) 240-0060 or bwlewczak@netins.net.
I need to take medicine while I'm at camp. Just be sure to list any needed medications on your registration forms. A parent or guardian must sign the medication permission portion of the registration form. When you come to camp, bring all medication in original, labeled bottles, and a registered nurse will check in the medication and assist with your needs.
Safety Each individual who works with campers has gone through an orientation in fundamental safety and ethical principles. We take care in selecting staff to ensure only the most caring, respectful and responsible individuals work with your child.
